The whisky matured for 18 years in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, adding layers of richness and complexity to Macallan’s fruity and full-bodied spirit. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of dried fruits, ginger, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is soft and rich with notes of spice, clove, orange and toasted mature oak. The finish is long with lingering dried fruits, ginger and orange zest.
